How to Make Exercising Fun

Exercising can sometimes feel like a daunting task. But for healthy living it's essential. I'm personally going through a weight loss journey so I'm always looking for opportunities to help me get in shape. Here are some tips to make exercising more enjoyable that have worked for me. 

1. Create an Awesome Playlist

Sign up for Pandora or Spotify and customize a playlist/station that will keep you pumped during your cardio or toning sessions. 

 

2. Change up your routine & scenery

The treadmill can get so boring. Try different classes such as Zumba, Boxing, and Dance. It's also great getting fresh air and running outside or going for a hike. Try activities that you look forward to, and that keeps your heart pumping. 

3. Find a fitness partner

I love working out with my friends because it helps me have accountability and fun. Look at working out with a friend as a chance to catch up and watch each other transform. 

 

If you don't have a gym membership check out your local YMCA, which offers affordable pricing, variety of classes, and childcare. Also, try Planet Fitness if you're on a budget and don't need any bells and whistles.
